This was a phenomenal weekend. I had a series of group plans, and between them I saw most of my friends and had great times. Friday Night: Justin's birthday. Saturday Morn: Josh Move. Saturday Night: Bockman. Sunday Day: Lily's party. Sunday Night: Wrestling ppv/[adult swim].

Friday Night: Justin's birthday
Justin is a friend of Bryan's. A good guy, a movie fan, it was his birthday. Much conversation was had, and I even ran into Adam Wolfram. Did some catching up. Found that an old classmate of mine might be at UMKC Law, David Tyrrell. I've sent an email, we'll see how that goes. Really, the best thing about the night was Bryan picking me up. I've been treating my car as though it died, I don't trust it. Having him come by was nice. It makes the car thing seem more manageable. also: Sullivan and Heath stopped by my house while I was with Bryan.

Saturday Morn: Josh Move
And I thought Quintiles would make me miss helping a friend move. Not the case. Josh picked me up from my residence at 7:45am. Much was moved out of his apartment into the U-Haul by the time we got there. There were a number of movers (friends and family). Laura's sister, Liz was also moving that day, and was accordingly the second stop for the U-Haul. Much sweating, and being coated with dust ensued. But most good came from getting to hang out with Josh during the drive between places, and the little errands we did. We moved both the sisters' into two town homes that were three down from each other, then I was dropped off at home. There I worked on my website, then eventually went over to hang with Sullivan for an hour before the concert.

Saturday Night: Bockman at Molloy's with Stephanie & Tom Yeo, Sullivan, Pam Walters also featuringmeaning they came later Catherine and Heath.
The banter was incredibly enjoyable when music wasn't going on, and sociability was still high when Bockman or Joe Stickley's Blue Print. Pam shared her seat with me, and quite a conversation. I also had the pleasure of watching Stephanie enjoy her favorite band. Pam remembered Nina Murphy from Rocky. It came up as Bockman covered a Hedwig song (Wig in a Box), I told her my friend played Yitzhak in Hedwig... but it was an excellent time. By the end of this entry I'll have run out of adjectives meaning 'better than good.' I was just extremely happy for almost the entire time I was there.

Sunday Day: Lily's Party
I showed up 17 minutes late, to discover I was the second to arrive. The first to arrive wasn't counted, as it was Travis, who I believe arrived far before the party was to begin. Becky, Tristan, Nina (not Murphy), Whitney all showed up. I played a fair deal with Tristan, who seems to be a very joy filled, happy child. With attentive, curious eyes, and persistent laugh. Tristan is nearly 15 months old. Food: delicious. Burgers: succulent, juicy. Beans, franks, chips. Good Stuff.
I had the confusion of sitting upon a hammock (which I am experienced at), and having it collapse. I laid on the ground, briefly stunned by impact and un-comprehension. This particular hammock was a pair of poles, attached to a base. The net-part strung between the tops of the poles. I got the Pepsi out from under my leg, looked at my thigh (where the poled hit it), and re-assembled the thing. Everyone saw it happen, but it wasn't much an embarrassment, I couldn't have done much differently. Lily informed me it had been moved, and wasn't likely put back together fully. It worked fine for the rest of the time. Nina and Whitney left. Then Travis. Then me, by way of Heath's Toyota pick-up, with Sullivan in there, too. We had a pay-per view to attend.

Sunday Night: WWE's Vengeance PPV and [adult swim]
At Bryan's, a crazy cast assembled (in the exceptionally great way). Matt and Sarah (Classico) were there with Bryan when Sully, Heath and I rolled in. Alex and Missy also came soon after the ppv started, Missy is due in a week. Alex and Missy will soon be parents. Quite exciting, they'll be excellent parents. It had been too long since I'd seen them last. Daniel showed up. Daniel is the 7'6" amateur professional wrestler who I've met a couple of times. Catherine showed up, too. Alan was a no show, but he had something work related he was doing.
The crowd was great, and the pay per view was thoroughly pleasing. The Viscera/Godfather stupidity was more than survivable with our audience. Beth Ryszewski came over in time for an excellent Family Guy, then left after Robot Chicken. ATHF, SG:CtC, then a bit of Entourage. Then a trip home, provided by Sarah (Matt passengered). Conversation had in car.

Misc
Natalie Spiess sent me a wonderful email, that warmed the cockles of my heart. A fine contrast to the other email... she is just a magically wonderful woman.

Great great great great great. That is how the non-fiduciary picture is looking. People are pretty fantastic, at least those kind enough to be around me and help me feel as happy as I am. To the best of friends.

Yay! Hedwig is amazing!!
I am sorry I wasnt able to hang out with you the other day. Since it was my day off, I had made plans days ahead of time to go with Lexxxis (from VIBRALUX) to spend the day at a lake "20 minutes outside of Tonganoxie"...cant remember for the life of me what it was called. It's a nudist lake too. I didnt have the guts to take my bathing suit off, though..so I was the weird one...hehe. I hope you are making plans to come see me in 'Debbie Does Dallas'. It starts on my birthday (July 8th). It's gonna be soo good!!! I love the shows I do, dont you?! You're so nice to have come to support me in my past two shows also. Thats really cool of you. Try to call me again soon to see if I am randomly free, okay?? Talk to ya soon! Ok, Bye!

I'll even see if I can't rally some troops for DDD.
Pam really recognized your name. I'd told her my friend was in Hedwig, and I said your name, she said 'she was in Rocky!'
That is so cool.
